Science workshops:

Welcome to a new branch of Gwen's tutoring...

 ✨In-person science workshops!✨

For one day only, 18th August 2025, Gwen's Tutoring will be running three separate science workshops at the beautiful site at Dail Bach -  Little Leaves , for pupils of years 5 and 6 in Ceredigion. Each session will cover a separate science and your child will make a souvenir to take home with them at a cost of £10 per session.

🌱Biology - come and discover the importance of insects for pollination and the lifecycle of a plant while creating your own little home for nature to take away with you as a keepsake

🧪Chemistry - learn about chemical reactions and experiment with the best way to harness power through building your own mini boat to power using a chemical reaction

⚡Physics - discover the different ways electricity can be created and use your new-found knowledge to build a battery

"What's the catch?" I hear you ask. Well:

• There are only 15 spaces per session.

• Each pupil must have an accompanying adult.

• Pre-booking is ESSENTIAL and each session must be booked onto separately if you're interested in more than one topic.
